Leisure mooring rates:

Our annual mooring fee is charged at 65p per foot per week, with a minimum length charge of 30ft.  However, please contact us for more details, availability and our terms & conditions.

There is a mix of moorings within Crick Wharf Marina, although mainly leisure with just three moorings allocated for liveaboards, one of which is for our on-site residential caretaker.  On one side there are mainly shorter boats with the longer ones moored opposite. Very careful manoevering is required sometimes depending on the boats moored within the Marina.

An easy to use swing bridge allows access to the Grand Union Canal Leicester Section where you have 21 miles of lock free cruising.

Turn left and you encounter Crick tunnel (usually wet!) and onwards to the Watford flight of 8 locks. Keep boating and you'll reach Norton Junction where you have the choice of the Long Buckby flight or Braunston flight of locks.

Turn right and at the end of a long day you'll arrive at Foxton Locks: an impressive site of historic interest with 2 staircase flights of 5 locks and the renowned Foxton Inclined Plane. Keep boating and you'll reach Market Harborough, Leicester and beyond.

There are many pubs along the canal usually with convenient, if not dedicated, mooring spots for the thirsty boater and many of them serve food.
